The Domaine des Massols extends over 27 hectares of forest classified Natura 2000 area.
Nestled at an altitude of 700m, at his feet the Rébenty river flows, appreciated for swimming and classified in the first category for trout fishing.
In a wild and unspoiled nature we cleared small fields in order to develop a thoughtfull and Organic Agriculture.
When we arrived the land was not cultivated for many years and the forest had naturally taken the whole place. Land with humus is naturally rich and needs no input. Cultivating fields in Organic Agriculture was obvious.
The farm is certified by Ecocert organization under number 107714/12P license.
As slopes don't allow mechanization of work, we chose to clear small fields and cultivate species that are suitable such as Saffron or red berries. To valorize this small production, the transformation of farm products was an economic necessity.
